Pasta of choice
100g smoked krakow sausage
3 cherry tomatos, halved
2 tsp olive oil
some spinach
1. boil the pasta as per instruction on the packet
2. wash and halve the tomatos, set aside
3. pour boiling water over the spinach, drain and set aside
4. slice the sausage into thin pieces
5. toss all of the above together, drizzle with olive oil and seas with salt/pepper

Honey almond cake
100g almond flakes
50g ground almond
2 tbsp honey
50g butter, softened
100g flour
2g baking soda
3 eggs
1. Grease base of a square tin, line with baking paper
2. Beat the eggs with an electronic mixer with butter until light and fluffy
3. add ground almond and baking soda
4. add flour and mix it together (by hand) until blended well together
5. pour the mixture into the tin
6. sprinkle with almond flakes
7. bake in pre-heated oven at 200 degree for 50 mins
8. cool it on a rack and drizzle the honey

curry puff
1 ready to bake pastry sheet, cut into squares
2 potatos, chopped into small pieces
1 tbsp curry powder
200g minced pork
1 onion, minced
2 tsp frying oil
1. place potatos in boiled water, boil for 10 mins
2. fry 2 tsp oil in a deep pan, when it's turning brown, add minced pork
3. add potatos to the meat mix, add 1 tbsp curry powder or chili powder if desired, mix well
4. set aside to cool
5. pre-heat oven to 200
6. place cooled pork/potato mix in the middle of the pastry, press the corners together using a fork
7. oven bake for 15-20 mins

cardamom cake
some orange zest
150g flour
200g plain yoghurt
150g sugar
5 cardamom pods, ground
1 tsp baking powder
1 egg
2 freshly squeezed oranges for the syrup
orange syrup:
cook the orange juice with 30ml boiling water and 5g sugar
1. sieve the flour, mix in baking powder, ground cardamom and sugar
2. blend the egg and yoghurt together, fold in mixture 1.
3. add the orange zest, mix it well
4. divide the dough into muffin cups
5. place in a pre-heat oven 180c for 20 mins
6. spoon over the syrup and leave to cool

a handful of grated cheese
ground pepper & salt for seasoning
a handful of pine nuts
1. place pasta in boiling water and cook for 10 mins
2. meanwhile, pour boiling water over the spinach and set aside for 2 mins
3. mixed the pasta with the slightly cooked spinach and ham in an oven dish, spread grated cheese evenly on top
4. oven bake for 20 mins or until the cheese has melted
5. serve with ground pepper and pine nuts
